Hi everyone,
Today would normally be the day when I start sending the newsletters for the academic year.
I am looking ahead at the calendar and thinking through my workload for the Fall, however, and do not think I have the bandwidth to deliver the newsletters in a way that I would find satisfactory and would deliver the quality most useful for you.
Each of you joined the distribution list at different times over the years, but I have been writing the newsletters since 2007, with 1,420 of them archived on my blog (http://strategiccsr-sage.blogspot.com/). All of that is to say that I understand the work it takes each year to write and send the newsletters, and have come to the conclusion that I need to take this semester off. My blog, which is intended to be a resource for instructors (classroom discussion) and students (class projects), remains freely available and fully searchable, by company or issue.
Another reason to take a break is that, if I can fit it in, I am planning to write the 7e of the book, this semester. I will keep you all posted about that but, if I can get it done, the book should be published later in 2027.
Even though the newsletters will not be landing in your inbox, this semester, you are always welcome to reach out with any questions.
I wish you all a successful Fall semester, and hope to be back with the newsletters in the spring.
